| We enjoyed so much seeing everyone who was able to attend the retirement gathering at Botanica on Sunday afternoon, June 29, 2014. We enjoyed hearing from many who could not attend. We thank everyone who brought or sent cards and gifts before and during that occasion. Where are we now? Dr. Merrifield continues to attend to the plentiful paperwork required to finish up the administrative parts of the medical practice, mixed with time for home and family activities. Because she wants to continue medical caregiving on a part-time basis, she has been working two to three shifts a week at Immediate Medical Care, an independent urgent care practice open from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. She fills in where needed, at the West, South, and East locations. Rebecca has been working at the Sleep Medicine Center of Kansas in Carriage Park. Her skills are well recognized and valued, and she enjoys working there. Laura has lots of grandchildren to enjoy. She will continue various kinds of volunteer work. Whenever we see one of our former patients, we really appreciate the chance to catch up with you. |
